CNL, which develops physical security information management (PSIM) software, has formed a strategic technology partnership with Geoquip, a worldwide specialist in the design, development and manufacture of electronic perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS).

The partnership, through CNL's Technology Alliance Programme (TAP), will ensure Geoquip products such as its fence-mounted Defensor system are certified to work with CNL's IPSecurityCenter situation management software. Certification will allow bi-directional communication of alarm information directly with IPSecurityCenter, enabling intelligence from other systems such as video surveillance and access to verify alarms.
